We are looking for committed volunteers to support programs, activities, and special events for community members with diverse abilities. The current offerings at the branch include: Open Doors. Open Doors, which take place on select Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., is a recreational social night for adults with diverse abilities. The group participates in a variety of enriching activities at the Y and engaging field trips within the community. Meet friends, have fun, and develop a healthy active lifestyle, all while building confidence and self-esteem! Click on the schedule below to sign up to volunteer. A PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting (or Signed Waiver if you have lived in the state of PA for 10 years or more), and the completion of a brief Child Abuse Prevention Training Video are required in order to volunteer for this program. After sign-up, the system will prompt you with next steps on how to complete these credentials.
