Get ready for some deep cleaning and organizing! Help the YMCA with projects to spruce up the branch. Click on the calendar below to sign up for a shift that works for your schedule. Closed toed shoes are required, as well as clothing that can get dirty or stained from projects. Join the Y team as a youth sports volunteer! We are looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers to help coach and support our practice and game day sessions. Leagues are typically eight-week programs focusing on fun, while teaching team play and basic skills. For coaches, volunteering requires an 8-10 week commitment for the season. Practices take place in the evenings Monday through Thursday, and games take place on Saturday mornings. Clinics and Summer Sessions typically take place 2-3 evenings during the week. You must be 18 years of age to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach, but positions are available for minors to volunteer as team volunteers as well as clinic volunteers. Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. All clothing must reflect the YMCA core values. Shirts must cover undergarments. Swimsuits may only be worn in the pool area. Sneakers or active footwear, as well as acceptable active attire, are required in the other areas of the facility.
