Upper Main Line YMCA
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated volunteers to support the UMLY Swim Team coaching staff. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your love of swimming, help young athletes develop their skills, and support a positive team environment. Volunteers will assist lead coaches with practices, meets, and social events, help improve swimmers’ skills both in and out of the water, and encourage a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all athletes. The swim season runs year-round from September to July, with practices on weekday evenings and some weekends, as well as opportunities to help at weekend meets throughout the season. Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. All clothing must reflect the YMCA core values. Shirts must cover undergarments. Swimsuits may only be worn in the pool area. Sneakers or active footwear, as well as acceptable active attire, are required in the other areas of the facility.

A great opportunity for anyone interested in sharing their passion for aquatics. Seeking volunteers for Safety Around Water and other aquatic programs. Help is also needed this summer for support at our outdoor pool. Water Safety Assistants are most needed Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. All clothing must reflect the YMCA core values. Shirts must cover undergarments. Swimsuits may only be worn in the pool area. Sneakers or active footwear, as well as acceptable active attire, are required in the other areas of the facility.

A great opportunity for anyone interested in sharing their passion for aquatics! Volunteers are needed to provide support for instructional programming and classes in the water. Volunteers can support the YMCA's "Safety Around Water" school partnership initiative to help area grade school-age youth learning life-saving water safety skills.
