West Chester Area YMCA

We are looking for committed volunteers to support programs, activities, and special events for community members with diverse abilities. Typical schedule takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays in the late afternoon. Click on the schedule below to sign up to volunteer. A PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting (or Signed Waiver if you have lived in the state of PA for 10 years or more), and the completion of a brief Child Abuse Prevention Training Video are required in order to volunteer for this program. After sign-up, the system will prompt you with next steps on how to complete these credentials. All clothing must reflect the YMCA core values. Shirts must cover undergarments. Swimsuits may only be worn in the pool area. Sneakers or active footwear, as well as acceptable active attire, are required in the other areas of the facility.
