Join us as we prepare for the launch of our Community Garden! Volunteers are needed to help paint the Green House Bus, assist with gardening prep, and support general site setup. This is a hands-on opportunity to give back, beautify the space, and help bring a community resource to life. No experience required; just a willingness to help and have fun!

Come one come all to one of the best days of the year: Healthy Kids Day! Volunteers are needed with event set up, activities, and breakdown. The day is all about staying healthy while having fun with children and their families. Core hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Click on the blue sign-up button below. During the event, we are also hosting a collection drive in collaboration with the Chester County Food Bank. We encourage participants and volunteers to bring most needed pantry items such as jelly, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned spam, canned fruit, prepared meals such as canned chili or Chef Boyardee meals (no glass or expired items). Consider including non-food items that are not able to be purchased using SNAP (food stamps) such as personal hygiene (e.g. deodorant/toothpaste), feminine hygiene (e.g. tampons/pads), diapers, toilet paper, paper towels/tissues, and paper plates/cups. In collaboration with Cradles to Crayons, volunteers needed to help donated clothing and toys for local partner agencies. If you are under the age of 12 and want to volunteer, a guardian or responsible adult must register to volunteer alongside you for the duration of the event. Please include first name and last name of the youth volunteer in the comments section at sign up. We are looking for committed volunteers to support programs, activities, and special events for community members with disabilities. A PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting (or Signed Waiver if you have lived in the state of PA for 10 years or more), and the completion of a brief Child Abuse Prevention Training Video are required in order to volunteer for this program. The YMCA provides care for young children while their grown-ups are participating in programs on-site at our Y. We also offer childcare during our Parents Night Out events, where children are dropped off in our care while their grown-ups enjoy some time together. Brandy's pantry is open on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about community and excited to help those in need. Click on the shifts below to schedule your shift. We are ideally looking for volunteers to help out on a consistent basis. This is a great opportunity to build leadership organizational skills. A great opportunity for anyone interested in sharing their passion for aquatics. Seeking volunteers for Safety Around Water and other aquatic programs. Help is also needed this summer for support at our outdoor pool. Water Safety Assistants are most needed Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Join the Y team as a youth sports volunteer! We are looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers to help coach and support our practice and game day sessions. Leagues are typically eight-week programs focusing on fun, while teaching team play and basic skills. For coaches, volunteering requires an 8-10 week commitment for the season. Practices take place in the evenings Monday through Thursday, and games take place on Saturday mornings. Clinics and Summer Sessions typically take place 2-3 evenings during the week. You must be 18 years of age to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach, but positions are available for minors to volunteer as team volunteers as well as clinic volunteers.
